FIFA To Use Robot As Referee At Qatar 2022 World Cup

FIFA are planning to introduce the use of robot as assistant referee and plan to implement the new technology in the game for the 2022 World Cup.

FIFA’s director of technology Johannes holzmuller as outlined his plan for his new system which would see assistant referee replaced with computer technology with automatically generated offside lines.
